Kankeimaru Flagship Store
Located in Ishinomaki, Kankeimaru is a store specializing in ceramics that has been open since the Edo period. The ceramics store continued operating after the disaster, even while having sustained damage from the tsunami. Kankeimaru relaunched in 2013, with Ishinomaki Laboratory creating boxes that were painted white to be used as fixtures in the newly-renovated shop.
