無塗装

震災後復興支援のためのオフィスのためにデザインされたKOBO SOFAはシンプルな木のフレームとクッションによって構成されてます。元々外部使用できる針葉樹をフレームとして使っていたことから、カリモク家具にてクヴァドラ製の水はけがよい張地の外部用クッションを使い、アウトドアに適したソファとなりました。現在はシンプルなソファですが、シリーズとして様々なスペースにフィットするように開発しています。

デザイン：芦沢啓治　Keiji Ashizawa
2005年に芦沢啓治建築設計事務所設立。石巻工房の代表も務める。「正直なデザイン/Honest Design」をモットーに、クラフトを重視しながら国内外の建築、インテリア、家具などトータルにデザインしている。プロダクトデザインにおいては、Karimoku Case、KOKUYO、Audo Copenhagen などの家具ブランドとの仕事を手掛け、近年の建築プロジェクトではTRUNK(HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK、国内外のBlue Bottle Coffeeは7店舗をデザインしている。

The KOBO SOFA was designed for an office supporting post-disaster reconstruction efforts, featuring a simple wooden frame and cushions. Initially, the frame was crafted from softwood for outdoor use. Building on this concept, Karimoku Furniture introduced Kvadrat’s water-repellent outdoor fabric for the cushions, making the sofa even more suited for outdoor settings. While the current design remains simple, the series continues to evolve to fit a variety of spaces.

Design : Keiji Ashizawa
Keiji Ashizawa founded Keiji Ashizawa Design in 2005, establishing a studio dedicated to craft and a motto of ‘Honest Design’. He also serves as the representative of Ishinomaki Laboratory. His work spans architecture, interiors and furniture design, with notable collaborations with brands such as Karimoku Furniture, KOKUYO, and Audo Copenhagen. His architectural portfolio includes both domestic and international projects, most recently featuring TRUNK(HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK and seven Blue Bottle Coffee stores.
