OSシリーズのデザインは、日本の温泉でよく見られるシンプルなスツールへのオマージュです。伝統的で頑丈なA型構造体を共通要素とし、スツール、テーブルと変化していく構成になっており、A構造の頑丈な中央の梁はOSシリーズのデザインを親しみやすく、象徴的なものにしています。OS TABLEは、OSシリーズの第一弾です。デザイナーが温めていたアイデアを、厚さ25mm厚の集成材を使用することで実現しました。中央の溝は電源コードやパソコンのコードなどを通し、ワーキングデスクとして実用的に使用することができます。

The OS series design pays tribute to the simple stools often found in Onsen (Japanese hot springs). The typology uses a traditional and robust "A" structure as a common element, then declined as a stool, and table. The sturdy oversized central beam of the A structure makes the design of the OS series both familiar and iconic. OS TABLE is the first in the series of the OS series. The designer's idea for this table is made possible thanks to the use of 25mm thick laminated wood - a newly introduced material to Ishinomaki Laboratory. The groove in the center serves as a passage for power cords for practical use as a work table.
