TRIPODAL STOOLは石巻工房の「洗練されたシンプルな構造の無垢材家具」というデザインコンセプトへの共感から生まれました。このSTOOLは美しさのみならず、容易に持ち運びが可能なためさまざまなシーンで使用することができます。象徴的な意匠である7度傾斜させた前脚は椅子の安定性を高めるとともに、座面の穴を利用してテーブルランプや携帯電話充電ケーブルを通すことでベッドサイドテーブルとしても利用できます。

The lightweight TRIPODAL STOOL respects Ishinomaki Laboratory’s concept of simple and easy-to-construct wooden furniture, and embraces greater sophistication. It is designed with not only aesthetics in mind but with the intention of being carried around and used as communal furniture. The front leg is slightly slanted at 7 degrees to enhance the stability of the base, creating an iconic signature for the stool. It can also serve as a bedside table by utilizing the gap in the seat as cable space for a table lamp or mobile phone charger.
