Philippe Malouin

British-Canadian designer Philippe Malouin earned his bachelor’s degree from the Design Academy Eindhoven before furthering his studies at the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in Paris and the University of Montreal. He founded his own studio in 2008 and has also taught at the Royal College of Art in London. Spanning sofas, tables, rugs, chairs, lighting, art objects, and installations, his diverse body of work has been commissioned by leading international brands including Flos, Zanotta, Acerbis Design, HEM, Iittala, De Sede, SCP, Established & Sons, and Marsotto Edizioni. Malouin’s pieces are held in the collections of Salon 94 Design gallery in New York City and The Breeder gallery in Athens. He was recently named Designer of the Year by Wallpaper* Magazine and appointed Chair of the Jury for the “Design Parade” festival hosted by Villa Noailles in France. He is currently based in London, where he continues to lead his design studio.
